“The Voiceless EP is a snapshot of my life right now.  There are ups and downs, feelings of emotion and love - I wanted to capture that through the improvisation and melodies of my horn. After a year of planning, it was all recorded in one day, in one room, with some of my best friends. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!”   -Ryan Svendsen

The Voiceless EP cover art features a trumpet playing Sloth, which is Svendsen's favorite animal.  In addition to the cover, artist Anna Peterson made custom artwork for each song after listening to the EP and choosing a unique animal to represent each track. Svendsen is pushing for “The Voiceless EP” to be considered for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Individual or Group for the 2018 Grammy Awards.  "If you enjoy this body of work or someone starts playing Trumpet because of it, then my job here is complete!"
